Theo (She/He) is a Health Promotion Intern at HEAL NS,
He is in his final term of a Bachelor’s of Health Promotion program at Dalhousie University. Lived experience as an out transgender child informs his passion for social justice, mental health, and trans rights.
The course of her studies has featured a consistent focus on core harm reduction principals as the foundation for more radical public health policies and programming. He has translated these academic pursuits into a burgeoning career in community outreach, engagement, and education in both health and environmental nonprofit sectors.
When he’s not working, you can find Theo attending live entertainment, raves, and music festivals—usually right at the center of the dance floor, or spinning her collection of records at home.
